About the Author – Bert Cintron

Camden, NJ is where I’m from—son of Ceferino Medina and Gloria Cintron. My parents were born in Puerto Rico; I was born here in America. I went from their hands to the hands of the streets—streets that never showed me love. But back then, I didn’t know any better. Now I do.

Before I was formed in my mother’s womb, I was already on God’s mind. He knew I’d have to walk through hell so that one day, He could pull me out of the darkness and into His marvelous light.
