About the Author – Jethro R. Pierre
Jethro R. Pierre was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL. At 18, after being diagnosed with T- Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma, he put pen to paper. At first, it was simply therapeutic. But as his disease progressed, his focus shifted to sharing his journey as an inspiration and motivation to others, like him, with life-altering diagnosis and their family. Jethro lived his short 21 years of life. He was a college student aspiring to major in business. Jethro had an entrepreneurial spirit and pursued knowledge. He was an athlete; he played travel soccer for Wellington Wave, varsity soccer at Palm Beach Central High, and was a member player of the State of Florida Olympic Development Program. Jethro was passionate about songwriting and producing. He enjoyed connecting with people and was tenacious about making a difference. Above all, he honored his relationship with God and his family. Jethro depicted his life in writing and music so that others could see the complexities of the healing process. He hoped that his story would be of comfort to young adults and their families battling any terminal disease, especially cancer.
